The US Court of Appeals has overturned an earlier verdict and ruled that Samsung has not infringed three of Apple’s patents. As a result, Samsung are now no longer liable for the $120 million that was due to be paid to Apple.
In addition, the court ruled that Apple were liable for infringing one of Samsung’s patents.
Of the $120 million that Samsung had originally been told to pay to Apple, $99 million was accounted for by the so-called quick links patent.
