There is some good news for HTC One Mini owners, with confirmation that the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is now rolling out to handsets. Alongside a more recent operating system, the download will also include Sense 5.5, bringing the HTC One Mini into line with the HTC One and HTC One Max.
HTC Sense is the company’s custom user interface, controlling not only the look of Android but also offering additional features that are not present in the stock experience.
Whilst BlinkFeed has been improved in Sense 5.5, with new sources added, anyone who doesn’t like the stream of updates on their home screen now has the option to disable it entirely.
Last month Android Wafer covered news of the progress being made on the HTC One’s Android 4.3 roll-out. It was always planned that the Mini would receive the update after this had been completed, and handset owners will no doubt be pleased to see HTC’s upgrade process running smoothly.
