Samsung appears to have accidentally confirmed that there will be two editions of the Samsung Galaxy S6. The leak came courtesy of Samsung’s Swedish and Finnish websites, both of which listed two new smartphones on their support pages.
The new smartphones have now been removed from Samsung’s websites, which is a good indication these are devices that the South Korean company would rather keep secret.
Samsung’s Swedish and Finnish websites showed details of two new devices, with the model numbers SM-G925F and SM-G920X. This would follow the naming pattern of the Samsung Galaxy S4, which carried the SM-G900F identifier in Europe.
If similar model numbers are used for the Samsung Galaxy S6, then it would be logical if the SM-G925F is a standard edition of the handset.
There has been considerable speculation that one edition of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will have a curved edged, although it is difficult to determine whether this is the SM-G920X. The letter X was not used at all in the model number sequences of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, anywhere in the world.
