A major new function has been added to Google Calendar. It is now possible to set goals directly from the app, which are then handled alongside more traditional inputs, such as appointments.
The addition of goal-setting to Google Calendar is interesting, as there are already a wide range of apps available in the Play Store which provide similar functionality. Google Calendar offers an all-in-one solution, however, from where all daily tasks can be managed.
Goals interact with the other information that is contained within a calendar. For example, if an urgent appointment emerges, then Google Calendar is able to automatically reschedule, so that any goals can be worked on later.
