Shopping lists created with Google Assistant will no longer be automatically transferred to the Google Keep app. Instead, any list created via the digital helper will instead be placed in the Google Home app.
In certain respects the change is not surprising, giving that Google Assistant can be accessed in a number of different ways, including via the Google Home speaker.
It remains to be seen how well the update will be received, however.
At the moment, Google Keep can act as an all-in-one mini organiser, storing a variety of information.
While it will still be possible to use Google Keep for shopping lists after the change – which is due to be rolled out on Monday – they will not automatically be synced with the Google Assistant.
