HTC is set to unveil its two upcoming mid-range smartphones, based on the flagship HTC 10, on 20 September. The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC Desire 10 Pro will feature striking designs, in a bid to stand out from the competition.
The new devices have not exactly been kept secret, with hints about their existence first emerging in August. These were followed by an extensive leak, which included not only specs but also images of the handsets.
The design of the devices is certainly noteworthy, with the HTC Desire 10 Pro having been pictured with two differed colour schemes. Images of the forthcoming smartphones show both black and gold as well as white and gold editions.
Despite the pictures of the HTC Desire 10 Pro, it is actually the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle that more is known about.
Since Evan Blass originally posted details about most of the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle specs, LlabTooFeR – another well-known Twitter leaker – has said that the smartphone will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset.
Although the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle specs are not especially impressive, LlabTooFeR suggests the device will be priced in the relatively-affordable $150-200 (approximately €135-180/£115-150 excluding sales taxes) range.
For HTC fans after something a little more substantial, then the HTC Desire 10 Pro should offer much better specs.
HTC are looking to make a big impact with the unveiling of the two smartphones, and will have a live stream of the launch available at HTC.com/launch at 9 am CET (8 am BST).
