A listing has been spotted on GFXBench for what appears to be a new high-end Android smartphone. The device is mysteriously identified as a ZTE A2017, although if this product is released publicly it is likely to be given a new name.
Recent high-end ZTE Android smartphones have been released under the Axon brand. It is possible that the ‘A’ in A2017 signifies this.
The ZTE A2017 was tested running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 – the same chipset that has been used in 2016 flagship smartphones by other manufacturers. ZTE’s device was also running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
