Games that are exclusive to the Oculus Rift can now be played on the HTC Vive, thanks to a new unofficial patch. There are currently two titles supported: Lucky’s Tale and Oculus Dreamdeck.
The software, named Revive, has been created by the Reddit user CrossVR. The developer has said that the current release is an alpha version, so naturally there may be some issues that need resolving.
Further development has been promised, however, including the prospect of support for more titles. There may be other Oculus games that work with the software in its current state, although CrossVR has only tested Lucky’s Tale and Oculus Dreamdeck.
Revive is available on GitHub, for anyone who wishes to download and test the patch.
