Although the Android tablet market is not as active as it was a few years ago, Samsung is one notable company that has continued to produce slates based around Google’s mobile operating system. And the South Korean manufacturer looks set to release more high-end Android tablets in 2016, in the shape of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 series.
The Russian Twitter-leakster Eldar Murtazin has said that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be launched on 1 September.
Whilst this news does not offer cast-iron certainty, Murtazin has a good record when it comes to Samsung leaks. The date is also highly plausible, as it ties in with the IFA 2016 trade show.
In the past Samsung has launched multiple versions of its ‘S’ line of tablets, offering different screen sizes. Last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 came in 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch variants.
