Anyone looking out for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has had to demonstrate considerable patience. But the wait could finally be over, with Samsung set to focus on its new flagship tablet at Mobile World Congress.
The Korea Herald is reporting that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be launched at a press event on 26 February, ahead of the trade show
News of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be welcomed by tablet enthusiasts, particularly as the device did not appear when it was initially expected to be launched.
The tablet market continued to experience a slump in 2016, with sales poor across the sector.
The ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 proved to be a notable highlight from last year, with the high-end 10-inch Android slate being widely praised.
Samsung will hope that its forthcoming tablet proves desirable enough to buck recent trends. With the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 being a flagship product, the South Korean company will be well positioned to include innovative technical features and design elements, which could pique consumers’ interest.
And there is another side to this story too, as while Samsung focuses its efforts behind a new tablet, the company will not be promoting the Samsung Galaxy S8.
This is not a surprise, however, as Samsung’s 2017 flagship smartphone was expected to launch sometime after MWC.
