The worldwide roll-out of Samsung Pay continues, with the payment service now available in Europe. Samsung Pay has launched in Spain, with initial support from two banks – CaixaBank and ImaginBank.
Customers of other banks in Spain will not be able to use Samsung Pay just yet. Unsurprisingly, though, there are expansion plans, with Abanca and Banco Sabadell both set to make Samsung Pay available for their cards soon.
It is likely that the United Kingdom will be the next country to see Samsung Pay go live. Samsung had originally expected to launch its mobile payment service in China, Spain and the UK during the first quarter of 2016.
Samsung Pay has already launched in China, with the service roll-out having begun in March.
