There will be a relatively quick turnaround for the LG V30, with the smartphone set to go on sale a month after its official launch. The phablet is due to be presented by the company on 31 August in Berlin, before becoming available to buy globally on 28 September.

Nokia’s Android smartphone are only on sale in a limited number of European countries, and even in those markets where the handsets can be bought, the full range is not available. However, recently there has been some progress, with further releases and announcements of new release dates.
One of the most anticipated Android smartphones of 2017 is due to land in Europe next week, with the LG G6 set to launch in 24 countries across the continent on 24 April. The handset will go head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is due to be released just four days later.

LG has submitted a range of trademark applications for smartwatch names to the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The South Korean company wishes to protect the names WatchStyle, Watch Pro, Watch Force and Watch Sole.
Although the LG V20 will not be coming to Europe, a variation of the Android smartphone could still be released throughout the continent. It has emerged that the South Korean company has trademarked the name LG V20 S in Germany – an act which raises questions about a potential product launch.
