Now this expansion is being taken even further, with news that Sony is to release a title on the Nintendo Switch.

Sony’s Concept for Android programme has released a new firmware update, offering a revised audio engine. The new update, which has been made available for the Sony Xperia X, integrates the Sony Audio Effects Engine with Android’s standard MusicFX system.
A release date has been listed for the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, with Amazon now indexing the smartphone in the United Kingdom. The Amazon listing advises that the device is set to be released on 1 June, with the handset now available to pre-order.

Sony smartphones look set to start receiving Android 7.0 Nougat from October. The information has come from a leak via Sony Slovakia and reveals that the Sony Xperia X Performance and Sony Xperia XZ are first in line for the update.
