Microsoft’s Arrow Launcher has received a big update which brings with it a number of new features. The latest release offers an indication of Microsoft’s commitment to Android, as it continues to establish a firm foothold within the mobile operating system.
The new features are not minor revisions and have been designed to add significant functionality to the Android experience.
Chief among the additions is support for notes, which is offered via cards that are baked into the launcher. This makes it easy to record useful information and reminders without the need for a dedicated note-taking app.
There are also security improvements, designed to protect important apps from unwanted access. Now a password can be set for any hidden app, offering protection in the case of someone gaining unauthorised access to a device.
The revised version of Arrow Launcher is now available to download from Google Play.
