Nokia has surprised the tech industry by announcing its return to the smartphone market earlier than expected. Although the company had made no secret of the fact that it planned to launch new handsets in 2017, the new devices were expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress.
Nokia has confirmed that the Nokia N6 will be available early this year. But distribution has only been announced for China, meaning that Nokia enthusiasts around the world will have to wait for further news.
In China the Nokia N6 will go on sale through JD.com, costing ¥1,699 (€235/$245/£200).
Included are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 system-on-chip, 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 display with 2.5D glass, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, 16 megapixel f/2.0 rear camera and 8 megapixel front-facing camera.
