There is good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet – the slates are being upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The roll out is underway in Germany, with first the 10.5-inch LTE edition receiving the update, followed by the 8.4-inch LTE version.
Previously it had appeared as if owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S would be out of luck, as the company had posted on its Netherlands Facebook page that Android Marshmallow would not be made available for the device.
The latest news is undeniably a positive development for those who own an edition of the tablet. Although Android Nougat was released this week and Android Marshmallow was first made available last year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S had been left running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
