Huawei has recorded a big rise in both revenue and profit in 2015, on the back of strong smartphone sales. The figures represent the best revenue growth the Chinese company has achieved for seven years.
Revenue of ¥395 billion (approximately €53.5 bn, £42.8 bn or $60.9) was up 37 percent, whilst a profit of ¥36 bn (approximately €4.9 bn, £3.9 bn or $5.6 bn) represented an increase of 32%, compared to the previous year.
In 2016, Huawei develop the Nexus 6P for Google. The device was very well received and was considered to be the best smartphone of the year by many reviewers.
