Razer has continued to show signs that it intends to keep its promise to provide updates for the Nextbit Robin. Another new Android version has been made available for the smartphone, with the release of an update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

European smartphone company BQ is demonstrating impressive commitments to Android updates with the BQ Aquaris X5 Plus, confirming that Android 7.1.1 Nougat is now being rolled out for the device. The company has said that the new firmware will be provided as an over-the-air update, which will also be available to download manually.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will not be receiving an update to Android 7.0 Nougat in the immediate future. In order to reach a position where it is able to being the roll-out, Samsung is currently undertaking a review of the firmware.
Tansu Yegen, the vice president of Samsung Electronics in Turkey, has provided an update schedule for a number of smartphones. In a posting on Twitter, Yegen revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be updated to Android Nougat this month.
Android 7.0 Nougat has started to roll out for NVIDIA’s SHIELD tablets. The hardware manufacturer has a strong history of providing support for its range of slates, which is now set to continue with the most-recent big Android release.
After a difficult beginning, the Android Nougat update for European owners of the HTC 10 is being made available once again. The firmware was initially released back in November 2015, but since HTC has paused the roll-out programme on two separate occasions.
