Satellite broadcaster Sky has written to its customers to inform them that it is expanding its Sky Store service to a number of platforms, including Android. As a result of the changes, movies purchased or rented through the service can now be watched on smartphones and tablets.
An issue with Sky Go that prevented it being used on devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop may have finally been resolved. Sky first acknowledged the problem at the end of October – a few days ahead of Android 5.0 Lollipop’s general release – and have now added support to Sky Go for the refreshed operating system.
